Mateo is my dictator and he is only nine months old!

The joys of teething; if it isn't diarrhea it is cramps and constipation, and I don't know what is worse to deal with. I have pulled out all the books, my favourite being from The Canadian Paediatric Society "Guide To Caring for Your Child from Birth to Age Five" and of course "What to expect in the First Year". Also, of course checked with the two mother-in-laws to make sure everything is normal.
Yesterday Mateo did not let me do much because he was, what I think, in a lot of discomfort, so he did not want me to hold him but he didn't want me to let him play on his own either because he wanted a lot of attention. His afternoon nap was only 15 minutes so by the time my husband got home, I just wanted to take a shower and relax. Then last night was not good either, as Mateo did not sleep well, so my goals are very small today.
My only goals for today for work are going to only be to check if people had time to read my book to their kids and if they have any recommendations. If I am feeling ambitious I can hopefully get some kind of workout in too.
