To a wonderful grandma...Abuela Lidia

On Tuesday August 10th at 2:00 a.m. a wonderful women, mother, grandmother (to me) and great grandmother past away at the age of 93. I will not mention anything about her passing because it is her life that means everything. Also this post is my way of trying to deal with her passing.
She is the women that I get my entrepreneurial spirit from, because that women worked for the money she had and came up with interesting ways to make money, or spend less (she knew how to bargain with everyone even if she didn't speak the language). Her family (my mother's side of the family) had a logging business is South America and my grandmother would do side jobs of selling extra pieces of the wood for firewood, even at the age of 80something, out of the second story window with a bucket and string (yes crazy).

But my grandmother also liked to gamble, watching gambling shows like Price is Right, or Who wants to be a Millionaire (when she was in Canada). She loved the slots at the Casino, and the buffet of course. She would still go to the casino if anyone was willing to drive her at the age of 92, and never missed a beat because her mind was always working.
She believed in enjoying every minute of life including every sweet there was, like chocolate, and a small glass of amoretto.
Every moment I spent with her will be remembered and greatful for every moment I did get with her.
I know she is in Heaven, coming up with her next business idea or winning at Conga (a card game) and most importantly with her husband and parents again. I miss you and love you grandma, and hope you watch over Mateo and my family.
