As a working parent I know sometimes it seems like the daycare person has more of a bond with your child then you do. That is why last week when Mateo and myself where both home sick, I felt like we had re-connected again, and I felt that sense of still being needed.
We both just snuggled on the couch, drinking lots of fluid and snacking, but mostly just sleeping. He would get on my lap and just curl up and fall asleep, and this happened several times, and I just felt like the luckiest person in the world.
Everyday stresses just melted away and I was in mom bliss.
It is moments like this that make you realize so many things are trivial and these are the moments that matter and make you feel loved and whole. I know it is cheesy to say but being a mom is the best job, despite a lot of hard work and no sleep.
Just thought I would share this moment, in case other mothers were feeling the same sometimes, when we get really busy with life and don't feel like we have a moment to reflect. So remember daycare people may form a connection with your child, but you are "mom" and will always be needed, so remember to be there when they do need you.

Another money making venture
As you can see I have added a banner to the end of my blog from readbud. Now I heard about this site from a fellow blogger. You get paid for reading and reviewing articles. So I thought why not try this out and see how it goes. Also I thought it would also be a good way to improve my writing, by reading other articles out there. I will let you know if and when I make money. I suggest anyone else to try it out too, why not make some extra money, just for reading an article on topics of interest to you. A lot of ads are on the articles but as long as you can read without getting annoyed, you won't mind, the articles are short and then you just have to give it a rating out of 5 stars, can not get any easier.
Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend. My husband is just happy Sunday Football has started up again, but not happy we aren't getting sleep as Mateo has gotten another cold from daycare (have to love kids and germs). If anyone has any suggestions about helping Mateo build up his immune system (at 1 years old) let me know and yes I give him a balanced meal already (cooked by yours truly)?!
