We are a community group for mothers, currently in the Orillia to Gravenhurst, Ontario area, we focus on food, nutrition and health for our family. We draw on expert knowledge such as naturopaths, but best of all we learn and share knowledge from fellow mothers. Even if you have never cooked before we can help you get started. We want to encourage moms to cook and learn the importance of what they put on the table. We are REALISTIC and STRIVE to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone, through education. Membership is FREE so sign up to follow us today! We work together to share knowledge of everything from recipes, nutrition, to how to plan ahead. We offer something for every lifestyle, from just the basics of cooking, spaghetti and pizza, to people looking to learn something new about nutrition, organics or even raw cooking. Never cooked before, let us help you get started, we offer some basic cooking lessons from a mom, to help get you started and then this group will help keep you going for a lifetime of providing healthy and nutritious meals for your family. We offer: Workshops, share recipes, and fun get togethers.

Learning to balance everything!

Finding great support and interesting sites online for both my writing, blogging and as a mom.
I have been getting emails for awhile now from Urbanmoms.com, but I really started to read up on it now, and will try to submit a story of my own. I discovered Mom Nation at http://momnation.ca/, which is mainly for mom bloggers and I think this site will be helpful to connect to other people for support.
Now I love all the things I am doing right now to help me out in my endeavours, like writing this blog which gets me to write everyday, but I realize after maternity leave is up I will have to work part-time to make sure I get a steady income. But will I be able to keep up on the endeavours I love. I realize it takes a lot of work to get your name out there and to learn everything you need to learn to be successful, and having a child is already enough to keep me working full time. Also right now Mateo naps, which gives me sometime to do other things, like this blog, but when the naps end, watch out. I guess I will continue to learn from those before me, like on Mom Nation, on how to do it all without losing too much sleep or my mind.
