We want to encourage moms to cook and learn the importance of what they put on the table. We are REALISTIC and STRIVE to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone, through education. Membership is FREE so sign up to follow us today! We work together to share knowledge of everything from recipes, nutrition, to how to plan ahead. We offer something for every lifestyle, from just the basics of cooking, spaghetti and pizza, to people looking to learn something new about nutrition, organics or even raw cooking. Never cooked before, let us help you get started, we offer some basic cooking lessons from a mom, to help get you started and then this group will help keep you going for a lifetime of providing healthy and nutritious meals for your family. My mom brain gets bored

Maybe I have complained about this before, but hey its my blog, and if I want to say it again, I will. The age between not yet talking or walking but just crawling gets a little boring for mom. I love seeing everything Mateo can do now, but really, crafts are out of the question and he doesn't really like to sit still to play with anything, and his toys are not interesting to me, so it is difficult to keep him entertained all day long. I will be honest, because I think a lot of the time mothers don't want to say the truth, in fear that they look like a bad mom. But I don't think it makes you a bad mom because you are bored, it is just the truth, we have more developed brains (well hopefully) and we require more stimulation.

So how do stay at home moms do it, especially if you are in more isolated area, and can't drive to places because you have one car and your husband has it? This is a big challenge. I already hike, walk and snowshoe in the winter, but believe me there is still a lot of hours in the day to fill up. That is why I think sometimes out of the boredom mothers become entrepreneurs or inventors because we have a lot of time for our brains to think  while we are playing with blocks (if we are not asleep). I can't tell you how many times I have had to run for a notebook to jot down an idea before I forget.

On a side note: I said I would give readers an update about my freelance writing career and I will soon. I mostly want to share what I have learned because success seems to be a very slow thing but I love every minute of it.
Anyways I would like to hear from other mothers and how they keep from going stir crazy?
