Fridays always consist of one of two things, either packing to go visit family for the weekend or cleaning and cooking for visitors. Funny enough this Friday consists of both (I know I am one lucky girl). We will be going to visit my parents' for father's day, and we have friends from out town coming on Tuesday but Monday we have a trip to the zoo planned and my husbands' rec baseball, so I must get everything done today.
But it is way too nice of a day to spend it indoors, so I am going to be focused on just getting everything done fast so that Mateo and I can go outside, maybe even walk to the park (which is actually a half an hour walk).
I guess this all sounds a little pathetic to say I have a lot to do today but I think it is work that never gets noticed, and I think some people couldn't do as much as moms that are home, do on a regular bases, never mind everything a child's needs, but just maintaining a house is work enough. On top of it I decided to start a vegetable garden this year, so far my husband has done all the work but I am suppose to weed it and actually get the vegetables once grown, and I do all the cooking so what did I really get myself into. I hope we can maintain this garden once I go back to work, or will it be another thing that is added to my list of things to do and I will just stress about getting done?
Thank goodness its Fridays (TGIF) turned in to oh my god it is Friday, at my house!
