Why does today seem like Monday?
So Mateo woke up three time last night and then didn't wake up until 10 minutes until we had to leave, so I had to pack Mateo's breakfast to go.
Then I get to work and it seems like today is moving very slowly and I am just getting over the weekend today.
Luckily I had made a bunch of meals on Sunday for the week because last night and tonight I do not want to deal with having to cook. Last night I did try a recipe for a vegetarian casserole from alive magazine and it was surprisingly very good, so check out http://www.alive.com/ in their latest issue dedicated to some kid friendly recipes.
Tonight is my Ladies indoor soccer league and hopeful I can muster up some energy. What I am struggling with is getting my writing business off the ground, specializing in writing sales material, as my background is in business and sales. Starting any business is costly and it is hard to think about spending money on a business because you almost feel a sense of guilt as a mother, because you feel like you should always be saving as much as possible. What I am doing to continue in moving forward is finding inspiration through other mother entrepreneurs, and recently just read about some inspiring mothers on www.savvymoms.ca, but I also want to do my part to help any other mom entrepreneurs. Therefore if you are a mom and run your own business let me know what it is, and if I could product test. I will write about the product/business after on my blog and other sites I write (of course I will only choose to write about things I liked and won't write negative reviews).
I always write about how anything I need to research I turn to my mom network (which is comprised of several sites I follow), and I think some weeks we really need other women to help lift us up to get over our Mondays (if this makes any sense to anyone else because it does to me).
Have a good week.
