We are a community group for mothers, currently in the Orillia to Gravenhurst, Ontario area, we focus on food, nutrition and health for our family. We draw on expert knowledge such as naturopaths, but best of all we learn and share knowledge from fellow mothers. Even if you have never cooked before we can help you get started. We want to encourage moms to cook and learn the importance of what they put on the table. We are REALISTIC and STRIVE to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone, through education. Membership is FREE so sign up to follow us today! We work together to share knowledge of everything from recipes, nutrition, to how to plan ahead. We offer something for every lifestyle, from just the basics of cooking, spaghetti and pizza, to people looking to learn something new about nutrition, organics or even raw cooking. Never cooked before, let us help you get started, we offer some basic cooking lessons from a mom, to help get you started and then this group will help keep you going for a lifetime of providing healthy and nutritious meals for your family. We offer: Workshops, share recipes, and fun get togethers.

Avoiding the mundane!

The morning rituals, breakfast for Mateo, coffee and something for me, laundry, dishes and cleaning, all things I have to do everyday but closing in on the end of the week it gets harder and harder to do. Procrastination is definitely something that is going to happen today, because after several days of the same thing I go a little stir crazy! I did enjoy yesterday's episodes of "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town", but even this is becoming a ritual of my week. So Mateo and I have to find some new things to do during the week, but what to do? There is a 5k my husband and I said we would run with his sister so I do have to train for that (I usually only run if I have to, like someone is chasing me, so never). So I think this afternoon Mateo and I will go for a run, but of course this depends on Mateo's mood to sit in the stroller, the weather and nothing out of the ordinary coming up, like my dog getting in a fight with a porcupine or a skunk (yes it happens). Also next week, after Mateo goes to bed, I am going to try to read something my mom says I should start reading, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" so I will tell you how it is later, and if I would recommend it.
These are things that I am going to try, so that I can get out of the usual things I do, but I am hoping that my ventures (businesses) start becoming actualized and this is for sure going to stir things up!
