We want to encourage moms to cook and learn the importance of what they put on the table. We are REALISTIC and STRIVE to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone, through education. Membership is FREE so sign up to follow us today! We work together to share knowledge of everything from recipes, nutrition, to how to plan ahead. We offer something for every lifestyle, from just the basics of cooking, spaghetti and pizza, to people looking to learn something new about nutrition, organics or even raw cooking. Never cooked before, let us help you get started, we offer some basic cooking lessons from a mom, to help get you started and then this group will help keep you going for a lifetime of providing healthy and nutritious meals for your family. Lessons from Motherhood that are transferable!

Today my biggest struggles to being able to work on my business are going to be that Mateo (my baby) is sick now with a cold, very congested, and I think I am getting sick too. My husband was feeling a little bit better today so he went to work but every mother can probably agree, that trying to watch a sick kid when you yourself is sick , is not easy. I cherish the good old days when I was sick and I could just curl up on the couch with hot chocolate and just do nothing. Now you just have to buck up and get over the fact that you do not feel well and just do what you have to, as a mom. The worst was when I fell down the stairs, landing on my back and I couldn't move, luckly my husband stayed home to help with Mateo but I was still breastfeeding so I still had to suck it up a bit and take the pain.
I guess these mother life lessons can also be entrepreneurial lessons because even if you are tired or don't feel well, you still have to buck up and march forward because your work depends on you and only you. I also think employers should consider mothers to be amazing candidates for any job because you know they have to be hard working, have to take things in stride and we have to be willing to learn what we do not know because motherhood is filled with lessons.
Goals for today: Take lots of vitamins to feel better. Clean the house to get the cold germs out of here. For the businesses try to work on the budget and research more publishers for my children's books.
