Confidence and procrastination

I just finished reading this article on procrastination in Alive Magazine. Now I consider myself organized, and not to be a terrible procrastinator but there were a few things I could relate to in this article and found very interesting.
This article said "...procrastination is often related to self-doubt" also our "internal chatter [our negative thoughts] creates so many negative emotions that it drains our energy for the task at hand, and as a result, other tasks take priority". Therefore "confidence and procrastination go hand in hand" and "as our internal resistance rises, our beliefs in our own ability and value diminishes. In the end we feel devalued and uninspired, and lack motivation to overcome our internal resistance. The result is procrastination."
I think this so true for entrepreneurs who keep putting off the next steps to succeed because they lack confidence in their abilities. Even moms who devalue all the work they do already, and what they are capable of, that they stop themselves from doing so much, such as personal dreams or goals. We have to believe that we are capable of anything, and then we can achieve anything, one task at a time.
I just thought I would share this information because I found it interesting, and I think we all already knew this, we just don't want to face the facts, and try to build ourselves up.
You can email me if you want to know the techniques this article suggested for stopping procrastination if you can not find it on http://www.alive.com/
