We are a community group for mothers, currently in the Orillia to Gravenhurst, Ontario area, we focus on food, nutrition and health for our family. We draw on expert knowledge such as naturopaths, but best of all we learn and share knowledge from fellow mothers. Even if you have never cooked before we can help you get started. We want to encourage moms to cook and learn the importance of what they put on the table. We are REALISTIC and STRIVE to make a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone, through education. Membership is FREE so sign up to follow us today! We work together to share knowledge of everything from recipes, nutrition, to how to plan ahead. We offer something for every lifestyle, from just the basics of cooking, spaghetti and pizza, to people looking to learn something new about nutrition, organics or even raw cooking. Never cooked before, let us help you get started, we offer some basic cooking lessons from a mom, to help get you started and then this group will help keep you going for a lifetime of providing healthy and nutritious meals for your family. We offer: Workshops, share recipes, and fun get togethers.

Ah, the "to do list"

The weekend was busy but not really, with going to buy Mateo's baptism outfit, a neighbour's kid's b-day party; oh and I pulled something in my leg (feeling better though). When I have things to do I always think of my obsession with to-do lists.
I really feel the need to start everyday with a "to do list", actually pen to paper, because I don't feel like I have any direction to my day without it. When we talk about someone being self motivated I really am, because I love just feeling like I have accomplished something if only for myself. Also with having to take care of a little one I really find the need to write down everything I have to do, because sometimes it really is just trying to find time to take a shower into my day. It is sad but I also find great satisfaction on just crossing everything off my list, especially being on maternity leave (like maybe a lot of stay at home moms feel) when I feel like everything I do is not really seen by people as doing anything, I feel like I have a list to validate my day, in a weird way. Some days, I even prioritize some lists.
Anyways I am a big lover of the "to do list" but is every mother like this?
Goals: To do everything on my "to do list".
